19 ships with petroleum products, other items arrive Lagos port

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Wednesday that 19 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods had arrived Lagos Port Complex, waiting to berth.

NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available  in Lagos.

According to ports authority, the ships are carrying containers, general cargo, petrol and jet fuel.

The organisation said that 18 other ships were at the ports discharging general cargo, containers, bulk wheat, petrol, base oil, bulk sugar, bulk gas and frozen fish.

It said that 12 ships with general cargo, bulk wheat, bulk sugar, base oil, bulk salt, bulk pet Coke, bulk fertilizer, container, automobile gasoline and inballast were expected from July 15 to July 27.
