Subsidy Removal: FG Must Declare State Of Emergency On Infrastructure –Rep

A member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Mufutau Egberongbe has said that the Federal Government must declare a state of emergency on the county’s infrastructure as a means of cushioning the effects of the recent hike in electricity and petrol pump price.

Egberongbe who is representing Apapa Federal Constituency, in an interview with DAILY INDEPENDENT, while reacting to the timing of the subsidy removal, noted that there is no time that is right for any government policy that take money out of the pocket of the people.

He pointed out that the most important thing is for the federal government to declare a state of emergency on the country’s infrastructure.
