24 ships laden with petrol, other items expected at Lagos Ports -NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 24 ships laden with petroleum products, food items were being expected in Lagos ports from Dec. 4 to Dec. 15.

The NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’,  in Lagos on Friday.

It said that the ships were also carrying bulk wheat, bulk sugar, frozen fish, bulk gypsum, butane gas, base oil, automobile gasoline, ethanol, jet fuel and general cargo.

NPA said that 20 ships were already discharging petroleum products, food stuff, general cargo, bulk wheat, container, bulk maize and bulk gypsum.

It said that 18 other ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with containers, bulk malt, bulk wheat and petrol.
