EKEDC appeals to Ogun, xxcustomers over power outage

The management of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) has appealed to customers in parts of Ogun and Lagos State over the irregular power supply being experienced.

Mr Godwin Idemudia, General Manager, Corporate Communication Unit, EKEDC made the appeal on Thursday in Lagos.

Idemudia said that the outage was due to a fault on the company’s transformer at their transmission station.

He said that the technical crew from EKEDC was working towards quick resolution of the fault.

“The affected feeders are: Opic 11KVA, Ijuri 11KVA and Otto Awori 11KVA.

“The affected communities are: Ayetoro and some parts of Otto Awori.

“I want to assure the affected customers that electricity supply will be restored as soon as the fault is rectified, “he said.

Idemudia therefore urged the customers in the affected areas not to vandalise EKEDC equipment in their neighbourhood because of the outage.
