Offor takes over from Sadiku as NIPC exec sec

The Director, Human Resources Management at the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Emeka Offor, has assumed duty as Acting Executive Secretary, following the exit of Ms. Yewande Sadiku.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony at the weekend in Abuja, Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mariam Katagum, described the departure of Sadiku as the “end of an era” at NIPC.

In a statement signed by Assistant Director, Information, Office of the Minister of State for Industry Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kemi Ogunmakinwa, the minister noted: “I know we will all come to appreciate you, even more, when we try to fill the void that you would have created. I can attest to the exceptional strong and proactive character of Ms. Sadiku, which clearly defined her period as one of remarkable and outstanding achievements by this Commission.”

Responding, Sadiku expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for giving her the opportunity to serve the country at NIPC, stressing that she enjoyed working with the ministers, staff and management.

Offor promised to give his best at the Commission.
