22 ships discharge petroleum products, other items at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Thursday said 22 ships at the Lagos ports were discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, bulk sugar, frozen fish and bulk fertilizer.

According to the NPA shipping position report, other items for discharging at the port are: petrol, butane gas, automobile gasoline, jet fuel and butane propane.

It said it was also expecting 19 others laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods from Dec. 9 to Dec. 29.

The authority said that the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

It said that the ships contain general cargo, bulk sugar, base oil, bulk wheat, container, truck, frozen fish, and ethanol.

Meanwhile, another three ships that had arrived the ports were waiting to berth with petrol, and general cargo.
