11 ships conveying various goods expected at Lagos ports

Eleven ships carrying various products and different goods are awaiting sail into Apapa and Tincan ports in Lagos on Wednesday.

They are eight ships containing petrol, one ship each carrying diesel, aviation fuel, and containers with different goods.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), however, said a total of 29 ships are expected to sail into Nigeria between June 20 and July 23.

TBI Africa reports that five of the expected 29 ships will sail in with petrol.

According to NPA, the remaining 24 ships are carrying base oil, frozen fish, steel, soya beans, empty containers, general cargo, bulk gas, base oil, buckwheat and general cargo.
