FG receives certificate to establish national airline

The Federal Government has received the Outline Business Case Certificate of compliance for the establishment of a National Carrier in the country.

The Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, who received the certificate from the Infrastructure Concession and Regulatory Commission (ICRC) expressed optimism that the National Carrier project would become a reality by December 2018.

“Glad to announce that we received the Outline Business Case Certificate of compliance for the National Carrier project from ICRC. The December kick off date of the project is slowly becoming reality .May the Almighty see us through,” he stated.

The certificate would enable the Ministry to commence an international competitive bidding process to operate and invest in the National Carrier.
