Stanbic IBTC Brokers promise retirees smooth lifestyle

To enable retirees enjoy better post retirement life, Stanbic IBTC Brokers (SIB) has added annuity product to the list of its insurance offerings.

Its Chief Executive, Mr Anselem Igbo, said this in Lagos at a consumers’ forum organised to mark the company’s third anniversary.

According to Igbo, the product guarantees lifetime income stream and protection of assets from market volatility.

“The organisation kicks-off the offer to Nigerians, particularly retirees, to enhance pension security and growth of income

“It also offers the opportunity to transfer the annuity to a spouse or named beneficiary, among other benefits,” he said.

The SIB boss said that offering was in line with Stanbic IBTC Group’s determination to avail its customers and Nigerians quality and bespoke financial services solutions.

He urged the retirees to take advantage of the annuity product because of efficient and prompt service delivery.

“We believe that the test of any insurance arrangement is in prosecuting claims to a satisfactory conclusion for our clients.

“Our role as brokers also ensures that insurers, as a matter of obligation, pay claims equitably and promptly.

“Prompt payment of claims is a key factor in any insurance contract.

“We will continuously develop key relationships and requisite logistical processes to ensure that we get clients the best quotes and prompt claims settlement,” he said.
