44 ships carrying various products expected at Lagos ports

Forty-four ships carrying petroleum products, food and other goods are expected at the Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports from Dec. 1 to Jan. 12, 2019, the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) said on Thursday.

The NPA said four of the six ships would sail in with petrol, the other 38 with buckwheat, general cargo, ethanol, aviation fuel, steel, Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK), diesel, aviation fuel, bulk gypsum, sugar and containers carrying different goods.

It said 24 other ships had arrived at the ports and were waiting to berth with bulk wheat, general cargo, container, bulk and petrol.
