BREAKING: Gunmen kill uncle of sex shop senator, Elisha Abbo, kidnap nursing stepmother
Gunmen have killed an uncle to Senator Elisha Abbo who was recently seen in a video assaulting a woman at an adult toy shop in Abuja.
The lawmaker’s nursing stepmother was also kidnapped on Saturday afternoon by the gunmen in Muchalla ward, Mubi North Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Premium Times says.
According to the report, Mr Abbo’s stepmother had just been delivered of a baby 11 days ago.
The senator’s uncle was shot at after raising alarm on seeing the gunmen leaving with the woman.
Adamawa police spokesman, Sulaiman Nguroje, has confirmed the incident.
Mr Nguroje said police officers from three units have been put together to rescue the victim and apprehend the gunmen.
The officers, he said, have been drafted from the IG rapid response team, anti-kidnapping unit, and the homicide unit.
