MD Northwest petroleum elected as DAPPMAN chairman

 Mrs  Winifred Akpani, MD/CEO, Northwest Petroleum and Gas Company has been elected as  new Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) Chairman.
Mr Olufemi Adewole, the Executive Secretary of the association said this in a statement issued in Lagos on Friday.
According to Adewole, Akpani was elected as chairman at the association’s recent general mlleeting held on July 11, 2019 in compliance with DAPPMAN constitution.
“The Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) successfully conducted elections into its executive committee, in which the following individuals emerged successful.
Chairman, Mrs Winifred Akpani, MD/CEO, Northwest Petroleum & Gas Co Ltd., 1st. Vice Chairman, Hajia Amina Maina, Group COO, MRS Holdings Ltd.,
2nd Vice Chairman, Mr Mahmoud Tukur, MD/CEO, Eterna Plc, Secretary, Mr Ikem Ohia,Group General Manager, Corporate Affairs / Legal, Ascon Oil Ltd.
Others are, Treasurer, Mrs Moroti Adedoyin-Adeyinka, Managing Director, Asharami Synergy Plc, Financial Secretary, Mr Christian Igwe,  MD/CEO, Mainland Oil and Gas Ltd., and Assistant Secretary, Mr Stilian Mitakev, Managing Director, SwiftOil Ltd.
Akpani, who took over from Mr Dapo Abiodun, now the Executive Governor of Ogun State, espoused the vision of a vibrant DAPPMAN which will unite members, advise, encourage and support Government to churn out policies that promote the economic well-being of the nation in general and the downstream petroleum sector in particular.
Adewole said that the new executives has since been introduced to sector regulatory and complimentary agencies and has began coordinating the affairs of the association.
