Eid-el-Kabir: IBEDC assures consumers of improved power supply

As Nigerians celebrates Eid-el-Kabir, The Management of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) on Sunday assured its customers of improved electricity supply throughout the period of the celebration.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr John Ayodele stated this in a statement made available in Lagos.

According to Ayodele, IBEDC will stop at nothing to ensure that all its customers enjoy the Eid-el-kabir holidays.

“lbadan Disco is aware of the high expectations of customers looking forward to enjoying a steady power supply during the holidays

“Within our capacity, we will ensure that whatever allocation we receive from the national grid is distributed equitably to ensure improved supply within the period.

The IBEDC COO wishes their esteemed customers and all Nigerians happy Eid-el-Kabir.

Ayodele in his goodwill message highlighted the sacrificial spirit of the season and implored all to emulate that for a better Nigeria .

He also appreciated all customers who attended the various town hall meetings across our franchise on the newly introduced Meter Asset Provider (MAP) scheme which was created to bridge the huge metering gap in the power industry.

In the message, he reiterated IBEDC’s resolve to continue to do everything within its capacity to improve service.

He further appealed to customers to observe critical safety measures like staying clear of electrical installations and powerlines, proper supervision of children to prevent domestic and electrical accidents

Ayodele also urged customers to switched off all electrical appliances not in use and not engaging quacks or self help to fix faults.

He advised motorists to avoid driving under the influence of alcohol and observing traffic rules to prevent collision with electric poles so as to ensure an accident free celebration.
