22 ships discharging petroleum products, other items at Lagos ports – NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Thursday said that 22 ships at the Lagos ports were discharging petroleum products and food items.

The NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available in Lagos.

It listed the contents of the ships as MOP fertiliser, frozen fish, general cargo, containers, buckwheat, ethanol, trucks, butane gas, inballast, dual purpose kerosene, automobile gasoline and fuel.

It said that 19 other ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with fuel and containers.

The authority said it was expecting 18 other ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods from June 18 to July 5.

It said that the ships contained containers, general cargo, buckwheat, frozen fish, petrol, automobile gasoline, ethanol and dual-purpose kerosene.

The ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.
