IMS Certification: IDSL Sets To Explore International Market- MD

Engr. Ferdinand Bariwei, the Managing Director of Integrated Data Services Limited (IDSL), has declared that the company is set to sell it’s services in the international market.

He disclosed this in Benin, Edo state, during the presentation of three Integrated Management System certifications by a German-American certification company, DQS Management Systems Nigeria Limited.

The IMS certification include ISO 9001:2015, Quality Management Service (QMS); ISO 45001:2018, Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S), and ISO 140001:2015, Environmental Management System (EMS).

Bariwei noted that with the certifications, IDSL is now qualified and ready, in terms of standard procedures and safety, to apply for work internationally and any of the IOC.

According to him, “The implication of this awards to IDSL is that we are qualify in terms of quality, safety and every aspects, certified.

“It is very significant to us in terms of standard procedure and safety for us to work in the oil industry and anywhere in the country.”

“With this, we are qualify to apply for work internationally and any of the IOC, in terms of standard procedures and safety we have in IDSL.”

“With these ISO certifications, IDSL is poised to offer quality services in line with global best practices. Our new certification status will also open up the company to attract more jobs locally and globally.”

“It is therefore, hoped that these certifications will go a long way to market the capacity, ability, corporate responsibility and goodwill of the Company to its clients and the public.”

“We believe it will help in no small measure to boost IDSL business opportunities and give IDSL a competitive advantage to take the emerging markets, change the narratives in the oil and gas industry.”

IDSL is one of the six Upstream, Autonomous Business Units (ABUs) of the NNPC Group, which has been actively engaged in the provision of Seismic Data Acquisition (2D, 3D, and 4D on Land, Swamp, Transitional and Marine), Seismic Data Processing (2D, 3D, 4D), Exploration & Reservoir Management Services, and Data Storage & Management Services.

The company has over the years successfully provided these services to its clients, including IOCs, NOCs and other oil and gas companies in the Niger Delta, Chad Basin, Benue Trough, Bida Basin, Gongola Basin and outside the shores of Nigeria (Columbia and Ghana).
