Heirs Insurance , Heirs Life reaffirms commitment to service excellence, simplified insurance 

Heirs Insurance Limited (HIL) and Heirs Life Assurance (HLA) have reaffirmed commitment to service excellence, financial inclusion and simplified insurance service to boost market share.

The executive management of both companies said in a statement on Monday that digital and product innovation, financial inclusion and service excellence were hallmark of their insurance play, offering value to all stakeholders.

The Managing Director, HLA, Mr Niyi Onifade, was quoted by the statement, as saying that both companies would remain committed to global best practices to ensure customer satisfaction.

“To this end, both companies recently launched highly optimised websites through which the insuring public can purchase products in mere minutes .

“Claims, which is perhaps the most significant bottleneck in the industry, has also been simplified with the set-up of a claims portal .

“Customers can lodge claims and get their claims settled in 24 hours upon receipt of documentation through the portal,” he said.

Onifade said the firms had designed innovative products that suit the reality of the insuring public with plans for families, businesses, entrepreneurs, couples and more to add value to the lives of Nigerians.

Also, the Managing Director, HIL, Dr Adaobi Nwakuche, confirmed the readiness of the underwriters to actively drive insurance education across broad through the introduction of affordable products that cost as low as N1,000 per year.

On regulatory expectation, Nwakuche said that the companies would remain committed to work in accordance with the vision set by the National Insurance Commision.

She said that the relationship between the companies and Heirs Holdings, which is a renowned conglomerate with recorded history of success across various industries was instrumental to its conforming to regulatory expectations.

With a paid-up share capital of N10 billion and N8 billion, respectively, HIL and HLA commenced full operations with a workforce of astute and experienced professionals and a robust financial capacity in May.

The insurers are backed with top-notch reinsurers companies to provide second-layer security for clients’ insurance portfolios.

Both companies are subsidiaries of Heirs Holdings, a pan-African investment group with presence across 23 countries worldwide .
