11 ships arrive Lagos ports with base oil, other items

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Friday said 11 ships that had arrived the ports were waiting to berth with general cargo, plaster, container, base oil and bulk sugar.

According to a Nigerian Ports Authority shipping position report, another 20 ships at the ports were discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, fuel, container, bulk sugar, bulk salt, frozen fish, ethanol and butane gas.

Meanwhile, 24 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected from Jan. 28 to Feb. 8.

The authority said that the ships were expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

It indicated that the ships contain general cargo, bulk sugar, container, frozen fish, base oil, bulk salt, bulk coal, bulk wheat and butane gas.
