The board and management of R.T. Briscoe (Nigeria) plc (“the company”) hereby inform Nigerian exchange limited (NGX or The Exchange), the company’s shareholders, and the general public that filing of the audited financial statements of the company for the year ended 31st December 2021would be delayed due to the required referral of the accounts to the financial reporting council of Nigeria for regulatory review.

According to the notice, Mr Seyi Onajide, the Group Managing Director/ CEO of the company said as a consequence of the provisions of the exchange’s listing rules on filing of quarterly financial statements, this precludes the company from announcing subsequent interim accounts without having first filed its last audited financial statements.
