MTNN: Cyril Ilok, chief risk and compliance officer resigns

The Chief Risk and Compliance Officer of MTN Nigeria Communications PLC (MTNN) Mr Cyril Ilok is set to resign from the company after almost 20 years of service to the company.

According to the company, the resignation of Mr. Cyril Ilok, is effective from 30 September 2022.

Mr. Ilok who joined MTN Nigeria on November 4, 2002, as a Senior Internal Auditor, rose steadily through the ranks to his current position. During his 19+ years at the Company, it was gathered that he contributed immensely to the growth of the organization, leading Audit and Risk Management projects that laid a sound foundation, leading to an improvement of the internal control and governance framework of MTN Nigeria.

The Board and Management of MTN Nigeria wish Mr. Ilok the very best in his future endeavors. However the company secretary Uto Ukpanah said his successor will be announced in due course.
