Protesters meet empty Lagos Secretariat, Govt House

Protesters, who on Tuesday took to the streets of Lagos over the continued closure of tertiary institutions as a result of workers’ strike, got to Alausa, Ikeja, the seat of the Lagos State Government to meet an empty Secretariat and Government House.

The state government had given its workers four-day holiday to mobilise and go and register for next year’s elections.

Even at the House of Assembly Complex where the protesters ended their protest, the place was devoid of activities.
