Build hostels for NCAT, NITT, NGO appeals to Dangote, BUA

The national chairman of Equity Alliance Hon. Magaji Baba has appealed to the chairman Dangote group of companies Alhaji Aliko Dangote and his BUA counterpoint Alhaji Abdulsamad Ishaku Rabiu to come to the aid of the Nigeria College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) and Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), with hostel accommodation for students.
Baba said, the appeal became necessary to have lived in Zaria and see what the students of the institutions both located in Zaria are passing through.
He also appealed to the business moguls to also consider assisting in furniture provision for the schools’ auditorium and help in the payment of fees for the less privileged students of the institutions.
In an interaction with our correspondent in Kaduna, Baba noted with excitement how the two business icons have contributed immensely to education and other sectors in the country.
He noted that the chief executives of the institutions are doing their best to upgrade the college/institution from the federal allocation they get but stressed that more needs to be done.
“We are proud of what Dangote and Rabiu are doing and their various contributions to several sectors across the states. We are also speaking to them to kindly assist these institutions.
“The appeal became necessary because many students of the institution/college are living outside the school premises because of a lack of adequate accommodation within the premises of the institution.
“I am also using this medium to appeal to the accountant general’s office and Federal Ministry of Finance and Budget planning to always and promptly release funds allocated to the college/institution,” Baba stated.
He prayed to God to continue to bless and expand the businesses of the business jurgannauts.
