Tinubu withdraws Shetty, nominates Keyamo, Mahmood as Ministers
President Bola Tinubu has withdrawn the nomination of Dr. Maryam Shetty as ministerial nominee from Kano State.
He replaced her with Mr. Mahmood Mairiga, also from Kano State.
Tinubu has also nominated Festus Keyamo and Mairiga Mahmood for Senate confirmation as ministers.
The development has therefore brought the second batch of ministerial nominees to 20.
The number of the ministerial nominees so far sent to the red chamber for screening and confirmation now stands at 48.
This is contained in a letter sent to the Senate and read by the President of the Senate, Godwill Akpabio on Friday.
