Austin Avuru plays guest to CORA BookTrek

The Committee for Relevant Art (CORA) has announced that the distinguished Founder & Executive Chairman of A.A Holdings, Mr Austin Avuru, will be the special guest at the 7th edition of its BookTrek event.
The event, which aims to promote literary culture and discourse on the African narrative, will take place on August 30, 2023, at 4 pm, at the RovingHeights Bookstore in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Mr Avuru, who is a renowned business leader and author, will share his insights and experiences from his latest book, My Entrepreneurship Journey, which covers various aspects of his life and career. The book also offers a unique perspective on the historical and contemporary issues affecting the African continent.
The audience will have the opportunity to interact with Mr Avuru and ask him questions about his book and his views on various topics. The event will also feature readings, reviews, and discussions led by CORA’s organisers and other literary experts.
CORA BookTrek is a platform that brings together accomplished authors and an engaged audience to explore the narratives behind their literary works. Previous editions have hosted eminent authors such as Vincent Maduka, Simon Kolawole, Ben Egbuna, Musikilu Mojeed, Uche Nwokedi and Wole Soyinka.
CORA’s Secretary-General, Toyin Akinosho, expressed his excitement about having Mr Avuru as the Special Guest for the 7th edition of the event. He said that Mr Avuru’s book is a valuable contribution to the literary scene and that he looks forward to a stimulating dialogue between him and the audience.
The 7th CORA BookTrek promises to be an intellectually enriching occasion for all attendees who are interested in literature and the African experience.
