22-year old Ilebaye Odiniya, popularly called Baye by her fans, has beaten 19 other contestants in Season 8 BBNaija All-Stars edition of the reality TV show.
In a tightly contested show which saw three females – Ilebaye (Baye), Mercy Eke (Lamborghini) and Cynthia Nwadiora (Ceec) as the last contestants among the six finalists that made it to the elaborate grand finale on Sunday night filled much fun, Baye emerged tops to coast home with the N120 million winner prize plus other prizes from the corporate sponsors of the reality show.
Baye had earlier won N1 million from an earlier task she won while in the House.
The six housemates that made it to the final from a total of 21 housemates that were introduced to the Season 8 BBNaija All Stars edition aside another five others, who were introduced to the House midway into the show were Mercy, CeeC, Cross, Adekunle, Ilebaye and Pere.
Mercy Eke, a previous winner of the show four years ago, emerged runner up during the grand finale, while Ceec had the third position. Meanwhile, Ceec won herself a brand new car (Ijele) from the stable of Innoson Motors.
The All Stars edition featured a new game tagged, ‘The Black Envelope game’, and 30 fans eligible for N1m prize each.
Also, the ninjas returned for the new edition, in addition to the usual weekly wagers, Head of House Challenges — which lasted for four hours, Arena Games, and other sponsored tasks.
The past housemates who made it to the All Stars edition include Pere, CeeC, Alex, Kiddwaya, Mercy, Tbaj, and Angel.
Others are Neo, Alex, Cross, Seyi, Whitemoney, Uriel, Doyin and Princess, Soma, Ike, Adekunle, Venita and Ilebaye.
The eighth edition of the reality show started on July 23 with 20 housemates before the list was gradually whittled down to the top three on Sunday.
Ilebaye, having previously participated in the Level-Up season, showcased her growth and resilience as she claimed the ultimate crown.
Outside the House, her fanbase, Baye Tribe, was growing with a great force. They voted to keep her in the House despite facing possible eviction almost every week
