Fuel supply tightness resolved, queues to vanish soon from retail outlets – NNPC Ltd

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) says it has resolved all the bottlenecks impeding easy flow of supply and distribution of petrol in some parts of the country including Lagos which led to long vehicular queues at fuel filling stations.
In a statement posted on his X platform, Chief Corporate Communications Officer, NNPC Limited, Mr. Olufemi O. Soneye, advised petrol users not to embark on panic buying as there was no fuel scarcity,
Besides, he noted that the national oil company has not increased pump prices of petroleum products.
He said: “The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) wishes to clarify that the tightness in the supply of Premium Motor Spirit currently being experienced in some areas across the country is as a result of logistics issues and that they have been resolved.
“It also wishes to reiterate that the prices of petroleum products are not changing.
“It urges Nigerians to avoid panic buying as there is a sufficiency of products in the country.”
