Air Peace has put its plans for U.S. routes on hold as it focuses on expanding and strengthening its operations on the London route.

Speaking on the airline’s current strategy, Head of Corporate Communications Ejike Ndiulo emphasised the importance of consolidating gains on these routes before expanding further.

“What we are working on now is what we have. The London operation and the other areas in the region, the West Coast, we are into at the moment,” Ndiulo said.

The airline, which launched its London operations in March last year, considers this milestone a significant achievement.

“So, for now, the one-year anniversary is the London route, you know, the London destination. You know, we are only one year in March, so it is a milestone for us, really. So that is what we are focusing on,” he added.

While acknowledging the potential of expanding operations to the United States, Ndiulo noted that the airline’s current priority is maximising efficiency and service quality on its existing routes.

“We have a lot of our Nigerian people, you know, brothers and sisters in the US. It is very profitable for us. But for now, our emphasis is on the London route and the West Coast. This is what we are focusing our energy on,” he emphasised.
