A remarkable display of unity was captured in Ojota, Lagos, as police officers distributed bottled water to protesters, showcasing a rare moment of solidarity between law enforcement and demonstrators.

A video shared by The Cable Newspaper on Friday showed protesters eagerly receiving the water.

The nationwide protest, which began on August 1, 2024, has brought Nigerians together to express their frustration and discontent with the country’s economic hardship.

Nigerians began the #EndbadgovernanceinNigeria protest on August 1, 2024, to draw the attention of the government to the plight being faced by the masses.
