Rivers State Sole Administrator Ibas appoints Hector Igbikiowubo spokesperson

Mr. Hector Igbikiowubo has been appointed the Senior Special Adviser on Media to the Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (Retired).

The Business Intelligence Africa (TBI Africa) magazine gathered that the appointment took effect from April 9, 2025.

Mr. Igbikiowubo is a thoroughbred and highly respected journalist and communications expert. He is widely travelled and brings to his new job over 25 years of experience in communication and reputation management.

He has represented various organisations in different forums locally and internationally especially in the energy sector where he distinguished himself.

Igbikiowubo holds H.N.D in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu; MBA (Marketing) Lagos State University, and a Certificate in Negotiation from the University of Oxford.

He worked in various mainstream media organisations and corporates. Before his new appointment, he was the publisher of Sweetcrude Reports.

He belongs to several professional bodies and he is a Fellow of Society of Energy Editors.

Igbikiowubo is married with children.

There is no doubt that he will distinguish himself and leave indelible footprints that will make his principal proud in his new assignment and service to his dear state.
