Officers and men of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Quorra visited the NIMASA Operational Base in Kirikiri, Lagos, on a study tour aimed at deepening their understanding of maritime laws, safety regulations, and the Agency’s statutory responsibilities, while fostering stronger collaboration between NIMASA and the Nigerian Navy.

The delegation was received by NIMASA’s Director of Marine Environment Management, Dr. Oma Ofodile, who reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to sustained inter-agency cooperation in advancing maritime safety, security, and environmental stewardship across Nigeria’s maritime domain.
