Breaking: Protest rocks RCCG HQ, Adeboye accused of backing Buhari’s ‘maladministration’

Protesters on Monday stormed the Redeemed Christian Church of God headquarters in Ebute Meta, Lagos.

Their protest centred around the alleged backing of the General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, for the President Muhammadu Buhari Administration.

The protesters, bearing banners and led by Eedris Abdulkareem and Baba Fryo, accused Pastor Adeboye of backing President Buhari’s “maladministration”.

The accused him of not speaking out against the ills of the Administration and the capture of Yobe State schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu, by Boko Haram Terrorists.

The protesters said Pastor Adeboye’s support for Buhari was because of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), who is a Pastor of the RCCG.
