Dr Okenabirhie bags PhD from University of Dundee, Scotland

 

Dr. Theresa Okenabirhie, a lawyer with the Department of Petroleum Resources recently obtained a Doctorate in PhilosophyPHD in International Law from the Center of Energy, Petroleum, Mining law and Policy of the University of Dundee, Scotland. Her research thesis is on how Coastal States can regulate the areas of the high seas where crude oil stolen from Nigeria is illegally transhipped and sold. The research is a welcome development as it proffers solutions to one of the major problems affecting Nigeria today.
