EKEDC Free Healthcare: Thousands of Surulere Residents storm “Stay Alive’’ free healthcare check up

Thousands of Surulere residents today stormed the “Stay Alive” free Healthcare medical service sponsored by the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) in partnership with the Arrive Alive Diagnosis Hospital and Labakcare organisations for residents of Surulere Community in Lagos.

The free healthcare service which kick-start today, Oct. 19 at Cole Street, Surulere recorded over 2,000 people both adults and children of various illness.

 The free Healthcare was scheduled to hold for Saturday and Sunday from 10.00a.m to 4.00p.m daily at Arrive and Alive Diagnosis Hospital, Cole Street, Surulere, Lagos.

Its General Manger, Corporate Communications of EKEDC, Mr Godwin Idemudia said the guesture was part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) towards given back to the society where they operates.

Idemudia said that management of EKEDC had decided to support the free health check to the community as part of its corporate obligations in ensuring that its valued customers and Nigerians stay alive to tell their stories.

It was also gathered that free drugs, vitamins, prescriptions, medical observations, Scan and feeding were given to all the people who visited.
