Brazil, Embraer celebrate Air Peace’s 7th anniversary

The Brazilian Government and its aerospace conglomerate, Embraer, on Tuesday expressed satisfaction at the steady growth of Air Peace,  Nigeria’s foremost carrier, as  the airline marked its 7th Anniversary on Sunday.

The airline’s Spokesperson, Mr Stanley Olisa, made the disclosure in a statement made available to newsmen in Lagos.

The Head of Mission, Embassy of Brazil in Nigeria, Amb Guerra de Araujo, commended the visionary leadership of Air Peace’s Chairman, Allen Onyema, and the entire management team.

Araujo said the commendation had become important due to the successes recorded by airline within the last seven years.

“Air Peace has made remarkable achievements, investing in brand new airplanes and should be proud of itself for becoming a leader in Nigeria’s aviation,” he said.

The General Manager, MEA, for Embraer, Hussein Dabbas, also felicitated with the airline, for its consistent show of strength and vibrancy since it started operations in 2014.

Dabbas said that Embraer would continue to partner with the airline, in its drive to interconnect Africa and beyond, through the provision of peaceful connectivity with brand new airplanes.

TBI Africa reports that Air Peace currently services 19 domestic routes, six regional routes and two international destinations

The airline boasts of a fleet of 30 aircraft with the latest addition being four brand new 124-seat capacity Embraer 195-E2s.
