SAHCOL commences ground handling operation for 2 airlines

The Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) said it has commenced ground handling operations for two international airlines operating at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano.

The General Manager, Corporate Communications, SAHCOL, Mr Basil Agboarumi, named the airlines the company had entered into contracts with as Badr Airlines and Tarco Airways.

He said the airlines would be operating two flights weekly from Khartoum, Sudan, to Kano. He explained that under the contracts SAHCOL would provide efficient passenger, ramp and cargo handling services to both airlines using the facility.

“The choice of SAHCOL by these two airlines as their handling partner is a further testimony of the exemplary performance and leadership role of setting the pace in aviation ground handling business in Nigeria. This is in terms of innovation and customer service,”Agboarumi said in a statement in Lagos on Thursday.

SAHCOL is a SIFAX Group IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) and RA3 certified Aviation Ground Handling Company.
