Guru MaharajJi requests for political appointment from Buhari

The Founder of the One Love Family, Sat Guru Maharaji, has called on President Muhammed Buhari to appoint him Spiritual Adviser to the Federal Government, arguing that this became necessary because all the religious groups and their leaders have failed.

Maharaji made the request during a press conference to mark the 26th Years ‘Anniversary Celebrations of Nigeria Declaration as the new Holy Land of the Universe’, which was held at Maharaji village, along Lagos/Ibadan Express Way.

The “Living Perfect Master”, as he is known, said that among his expectations was for Buhari to appoint him to oversee Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, Oil and Gas for him to handle in the second term.

He added that the Federal Government needs to make an increment and improvement in the wages and welfare of judges in the country to stop the temptation of receiving bribes directly or through agents.

The controversial cleric said the Federal Government should create State Police in other to curb the incessant killings and increasing rate of insecurity in the nation, adding the creation will enhance sound security in the States to curb insurgency.

Maharaji while analyzing the economic State of the country,urged President Buhari to consult foreign and local manufacturers to come to Nigeria and invest by creating companies.

The clergyman advised the Federal Government to disclose names of those involved in the sales and mismanagement of funds of some Nigeria companies which include, Nigerian Airways, Ajaokuta Steel, Delta Steel, Nigeria Electric Power Authority among others

Maharaji identified other areas of expectation as include;  promotion of Nigeria traditional culture by creating the Ministry for Culture and Tradition, realization of more funds to the country through giving more attentions to Sports, Establishment of ‘Social security system to give all unemployed High School graduates the sum of N6,000 , National Diploma holder a sum of N8,000, Higher National Diploma and Degree the sum of N15,000 monthly, stressing that such will take them away from criminal activities.

“The Federal Government should increase the reward for whistle blower to 10 per cent in order to encourage more Nigerians to take up the challenges,  Alafin of Oyo should be made Chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers in Nigeria ‘in consideration of his position from the inception of the project Nigeria as the leading king of the land.”
