IPPIS registers 1,177 staff of FUOYE

No fewer than 1,177 teaching and non-teaching staff of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), on Tuesday, registered with the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

Mrs Ebiere Ejikeme, who led some officials from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF), made this disclosure after the completion of the first phase of the exercise.

Ejikeme said that the registration was in conformity with the directive of the federal government.

According to her, a total of 1,177 staff, teaching and non- teaching have been captured.

“A nationwide mop up exercise will continue very soon to accommodate members of staff, who were absent as a result of maternity leave.

“Some are on leave of absence, authorised foreign leave, study leave or other health issues.

“IPPIS has come to carry all staff along, therefore,  the staff of the university should not be afraid because salaries and allowances will be paid promptly to enhance staff welfare,” she said.

Ejikeme thanked the university management on behalf of her team for the warm reception and provision of necessary materials needed for the exercise.

Mr Adeyinka Ademuyiwa, the Deputy Director, Corporate Services of FUOYE, said that the staff, who were absent would be present in the next registrstion exercise.

Ademuyiwa expressed gratitude to the officials and the team leader for the good job.
