Uzodinma’s victory, a portrayal of people’s confidence- Sen. Alasoadura

Sen. Tayo Alasoadura, the Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, has described Mr Hope Uzodinma’s victory at the Supreme Court as the duly elected governor of Imo, as a portrayal of people’s confidence in him.

This remark is contained in a statement made available by Mr Dayo Joseph, the media spokesman of Alasoadura, on Thursday in Akure.

In the statement, Alasoadura said that Imo people’s wish and vioce had been heard.

“I wish to congratulate my brother and friend, Senator Hope Uzodinma, on his victory at the Supreme Court, which declared him the winner of the March 9, 2019, Imo State governorship election.

“Your victory is a portrayal of the confidence the people of Imo State have in your ideals, leadership and vision for the future. More of such victories to our party,” he said.

Alasoadura tasked Uzodinma to be magnanimous in victory as “you prepare to unfold a new lease of life for the people of the state through purposeful leadership and responsible governance”.
