NPA expects 22 ships with petroleum products, others at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Thursday that it was expecting 22 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and others from March 11 to April 24.

The NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position`, a copy of which was made available  in Lagos.

According to the publication, the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

It indicated that the ships contained bulk gypsum, bulk wheat, base oil, general cargo, frozen fish, container, automobile gasoline, petrol and ethanol.

NPA said that another eight ships had arrived the ports,.waiting to berth with bulk malt, bulk salt, container, petrol and automobile gasoline.

It said that 19 other ships at the ports were discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, base oil, bulk clinker, frozen fish, container, bulk sugar, bulk gypsum and petrol.
