Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Angel, narrated how she got high on marijuana, also called ‘weed’, for the first time.
She said this while discussing with some of the housemates in the garden on Saturday, day 70 of the show.
Apparently, she had gotten spaghetti (which she called Korede spaghetti) to eat on that day and was on a ride with her friends.
She said, “I carried my Korede spaghetti and I entered one guy’s car that we usually hang out with. That’s how he brought out weed. I’ve never taken weed before.
“He said, ‘Do you want?’ I said I’ve not smoked before. He told me I don’t need to smoke it, that I can just put it in my food.
“I said okay because sometimes they chew it. And I was still going home.
“He then gave me something to put inside my food. That’s how I missed it with my Korede spaghetti and chewed it. I finished the Korede spaghetti; chewed it with the weed.
“I was not high throughout my ride home. I wasn’t high. As per, I was okay. I went home to my grandmother’s house. I took my bath and I was still okay. I went to the sitting room and sat down.
“My grandmother was calling me, but I didn’t answer. ‘Angel! Angel!!’ I was watching film.
“‘Angel!’ I stood up, went to the bathroom, came back and sat down. I watched film again. My grandmother started hitting my leg.”
Liquorose, who was paying half-attention to the story, said, “So you even watched film again. Is it alcohol?”
“No. It was the first time I ever did weed,” Angel answered.
