NCAA approves training organisation certificate to Aviatrix Hub

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has granted Approved Training Organisation(ATO) certificate to Aviatrix Hub, an aviation training institute based in Lagos.to carry out Basic and Advanced Flight Dispatcher training.

ATO certificate is an approval granted by NCAA to an organisation established to conduct aviation training courses.

Speaking during the presentation of the certificate, at the NCAA office at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), Abuja, the Director General of NCAA, Capt. Musa Nuhu said the authority was elated that the training institute completed the rigorous certification process.

The NCAA boss, who was represented by the General Manger, Operations, Licensing and Training Standards, (DOLTS), Engr. Haruna Hyelni, congratulated Aviatrix Hub for being able to meet the requirements for granting the school the licence, urging the institute to maintain the standards in accordance with NCAA regulations.

“Congratulations. Going through this certification process is not easy. This process took several months and having gone through this process, we are delighted because the institute has complied with our regulations.

“What the issuance of ATO certificate means is that you have fulfilled all the conditions for the granting of ATO.”

Speaking shortly after presenting the certificate, the Accountable Manager/Chief Executive Officer, Aviatrix Hub, Mrs. Victoria Adegbe, said  the new training institute is designed to specially train Fight Dispatchers.

“Aviatrix Hub is conceptualised as an aviation institute for the training of flight dispatchers and it aims to be the institute of choice for Dispatchers,” she said.

Meanwhile, the Accountable Manager, disclosed that Aviatrix Hub has signed Memorandum of Understanding with TEETA Aviation in Dubai and Twiga Aero in the United States to offer other Aviation Certificate and Diploma trainings.

Adegbe informed that Aviatrix Hub, has since hit the ground running with enrollments opened for both Basic and Advanced Flight Dispatch courses.

The school, she said will ensure that students takes both theory and sufficient practical classes for the students.

Aviatrix Hub, on the approval of NCAA also signed MoU with Eastwing Aviation, Enugu to train its Flight Dispatchers.

Adegbe said she has trained several students over the years, who have excelled in their NCAA exams and are currently working as Flight Dispatchers in various airlines.

According to her, “I am committed to seeing that my flight dispatch students excel in their NCAA examinations while also mastering the art of the profession.”

Adegbe holds a Flight Dispatch and Ground Instructors license with the NCAA and a Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) Aircraft Dispatch and Ground Instructors license in the United States of America.

She brings to Aviatrix Hub a wealth of experience and an unequalled passion and dedication to training.
