Adeleke promises to complete Oyetola’s projects

The Osun State governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has stated that his government will not abandon any of the initiatives started by the previous administration in the state.

Adeleke said this during a visit to the Osun State House of Assembly on Monday.

The governor also vowed to maintain a cordial relationship with the legislators, saying he would always supply the logistics and apparatus required for the Assembly’s successful operation.

A statement by the Press Secretary to the Speaker, Kunle Alabi, obtained in Osogbo on Monday, quoting Adeleke, further read in parts, “since the government is a continuum, my administration will not abandon any of the projects embarked on by the previous administration.

“Now that the election is over, I want everyone to join me to move the state forward, government cannot do it alone. For us to have an enviable state, everyone must be ready to play their part for the state to move forward.

“I promise that my administration will not cheat anyone. It will be an all-inclusive government where everybody will be happy and peace will reign supremely in the state.”

Earlier, the Speaker, Timothy Owoeye, stated that the Assembly would support Adeleke’s administration, noting that lawmakers may disagree with the executive based on legal facts but not for sentimental reasons.
