Tinubu withdraws nomination of 24-year old Imam as FERMA Chairman

President Bola Tinubu has directed the withdrawal of the nomination of Engr. Imam Kashim Imam as the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).
According to a statement by presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, on Thursday evening, the President’s withdrawal of 24-year-old Imam’s nomination was with immediate effect.
“All other appointments to the Board and Executive Management team of FERMA are not affected by this directive,” the presidential media aide stated.
The nomination of Imam alongside new management members of FERMA was announced last week, a development that attracted mixed reactions.
