Popular Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has apologised to his wife, Natasha, his children, and fans after sparking outrage with a controversial comment suggesting that men are not sexually wired to be with just one woman.

The singer had stirred heated debate during a recent podcast appearance, where he claimed that although a man can deeply love one woman, he is biologically inclined to have sexual relations with others.

“A man is not built to sexually be with one woman. A man can love one woman die, but it’s impossible for a man to sexually be with only one woman. It’s the biology of man,” he said.

His remark drew sharp criticism online, with many accusing him of justifying infidelity, while a few others described it as a “harsh truth.”

However, in a video shared on Tuesday night, 2Baba described the comment as “unlegendary” and offered a heartfelt apology.

“He said in part, “I know I fuc#ked up with what I said and I know I’m going to get cancelled because of it. I apologise to my fans and most importantly, my wife, the love of my life, Natasha and also my kids. I’m terribly sorry. That’s not who I am,” he said.
