Abuja Continental Hotel bags Outstanding Hospitality Excellence Award at the National Tourism Transportation Summit and Expo 2025

Abuja Continental Hotel, the flagship property of Continental Hotels Group Nigeria, has once again been singled out for excellence, receiving the prestigious Outstanding Hospitality Excellence Award at the Tourism Transport Summit Awards 2025.

The accolade, presented during the glittering Gala Night of the 8th National Tourism Transportation Summit and Expo, recognises the hotel’s unwavering commitment to world‑class service, seamless guest experiences and its pivotal role in supporting Nigeria’s tourism and transportation sectors.

Cluster Director of Marketing, Richard Mutanda, said, “This award is a reflection of the incredible passion and dedication of every member of the Abuja Continental family.

According to him , the collective spirit and relentless pursuit of perfection have made the hotel  a benchmark for luxury hospitality in the Federal Capital Territory and beyond.”

He noted that  award comes on the heels of an avalanche of recognitions the hotel has garnered throughout 2025, cementing its reputation as one of the most sought‑after destinations for travellers all year round.

Richard pointed out that  guests are drawn to the hotel’s magnificent properties – from elegantly appointed rooms and state‑of‑the‑art meeting rooms to enviable hall facilities for MICE .

He emphasised that it is the people behind the scenes who truly set Abuja Continental apart stressing ‘the team’s can‑do attitude, attention to detail and genuine warmth have become the hallmark of every stay, turning first‑time visitors into loyal advocates”

During the awards ceremony, Group General Manager Karl Hala and Richard Mutanda jointly received the plaque praising the “selfless contribution of every housekeeper, chef, concierge and support staff whose dedication turns ordinary moments into unforgettable memories.”

According to the duo, the recognition belongs to the entire workforce, whose tireless effort ensures that every guest feels at home.
