Sanwo-Olu appoints new KAI corps marshal, others

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of Major Olaniyi Olatunbosun Cole (retd.) as the new Corps Marshal of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps Agency also known as Kick Against Indiscipline Brigade.
Also, the governor appointed Adefemi Afolabi as General Manager of the Lagos State Waste Water Management Office.
The appointments of the duo took effect on January 25, 2024.
A statement signed by the Director (Public Affairs) Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Kunle Adeshina, on Tuesday, added that Sanwo-Olu also approved the appointment of three new Deputy Corps Marshals for LAGESC.
The newly appointed officers are: Mr Osifeso Olusegun Shakiru – Intelligence and Monitoring; Mr Oyenola Koyejo Quadril – Discipline and Welfare; Mr Apena Idowu Yisa – Admin.
“The appointment of the three new Deputy Corps Marshals, two of whom were elevated from the LAGESC/ KAI personnel also took effect from January 25, 2024.
“The Head of Service enjoined the new appointees to demonstrate a high level of dedication, diligence and selflessness in the discharge of their duties to justify the confidence and trust of Mr Governor,” Adeshina said.
In November, Sanwo-Olu had approved the appointment of Bakare-Oki Olalekan as the acting General Manager for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority.
