12 ships arrive Lagos ports with petrol, other commodities

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said 12 ships laden with various products, including petrol, are at the Lagos ports waiting to berth.

The NPA disclosed this in its daily “Shipping Position” made available in Lagos on Thursday. It said eight of the vessels were laden with petrol, while the remaining four would berth with general cargo, container, oil, and bulk fertiliser.

It added that 43 other ships with consignments of petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports between Thursday and April 28.

According to it, the expected ships are carrying buck wheat, containers, steel products, container, frozen fish, bulk sugar, buck wheat, soya beans, base oil, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, ethanol and petrol.
