Joe Biden has taken the oath of office as the 46th President of the United States.
Biden was sworn in by the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, John Roberts.
Biden will officially become the 46th president of the United States at 12 noon EST (6pm Nigerian time).
After taking the oath of office, Joe Biden said that the Inauguration Day was a celebration of democracy and that the “the will of the people has been heard.”
