Kaduna appoints Salamatu Isah as Adviser on Economic and Investment Matters

The Kaduna State Government has appointed Dr Salamatu Isah as Adviser on Economic and Investment Matters to Gov. Nasir El-Rufa’i.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr Samuel Aruwan, announced the appointment in a statement on Sunday in Kaduna.

According to the statement that Isah is a development economist from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and also a member of Federal Government Economic Advisory Board.

“Dr Isah graduated from ABU with a first degree in Economics in 1995 and holds a doctorate in the same discipline. She was most recently Head of the Department of Economics,” Aruwan said.

She has over 17 years experience in teaching Development Economics, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at the tertiary level.

Arunwa said with the new appointment, Hajiya Umma Yusuf Aboki, who was combining the functions of Economic Adviser and Executive Secretary of KADIPA, would now be responsible solely for the KADIPA mandate.
