32 ships laden with petrol, others expected at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Friday said it was expecting 34 ships with petroleum products, food and other goods from Sept. 7 to Sept. 22 at the Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports.

NPA said 10 ships would sail in with petrol, while the remaining 22 would bring bulk wheat, frozen fish, general cargo, base oil, diesel, bulk fertiliser and containers carrying various goods.

The authority also said 14 ships carrying bulk fertiliser, buckwheat, soya beans, container and petrol, had arrived at the ports and were waiting to berth.
