Obasanjo, prominent Nigerians honor a legal luminary, Dr Mike during ABUAD’s 10th convocation

**** Dr. Ozekome recieves accolades from prominent Nigerians

As part of ceremony for the award of well deserved Doctorate Degree to one of Nigeria’s highly celebrated Legal Luminary, Dr. (Sir) Mike Ozekhome (SAN), at Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), Ado Ekiti, he delivered a lecture titled, “THE PLACE OF EDUCATION IN A CRISIS-RIDDEN NIGERIA”.

Haven extensively dissected the topic, the former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, and other prominent Nigerians showered encomium on the newly decorated Dr. Mike Ozekhome.

The founder of ABUAD, Aare Afe Babalola, SAN, CON, OFR, LLD, who was highly impressed with the 83 pages well researched lecture, surprised Dr. Ozekhome, his wife, lady ( Barr) Josephine, his sons, Barr Oshomha and Osilama, and the mammoth crowd of friends, well wishers,students, staff of ABUAD and traditional rulers present, with a well decorated birthday cake.

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo led the supervision of cutting of the cake and rendition of songs, as eulogies were said to celebrate Mike for his many contribution to development of humanity during the convocation.

On his part, an Adamawa based Lawyer, Barrister Gabriel Adikwu also told this medium that because of the many great contributions Ozekhome is giving in the legal system of Nigeria, he will be tomorrow awarded with the LL.D Doctorate degree (HC).

According to him Mike alongside the former Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni and the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Garba Elkanemi will be decorated with the Doctorate awards.
